Voice Coaching
For an actor, your voice is the ultimate tool. In theatre and screen work having a strong and flexible voice is a necessity. We will work together in order to find clarity, strength, and ease in your voice.
Text Work
Working on any text can seem daunting when you don’t have the right tools. Our lessons can cover work on classical, modern, and musical theatre text. We will work analysing punctuation, rhetoric, imagery, and sounds of any text. This will help unlock your individual interpretation of any text!
Accent Development
Accent work is for everyone! Whether you need to be American, French, English, Spanish, anything at all, we will work together to find ease and authenticity in text. In my step by step process you can find confidence in any accent.
Public Speaking
Public. Speaking. Those two words are powerful enough to send you right back to school speeches and nervous feelings! Never fear, our lessons will help you to feel more at ease for any speaking event. We will work on clarity of mind, body, and voice during our sessions. This includes work on grounding, breath, and body language.
Audition Preparation
If there is an important or last minute audition coming up, there can be some worry about nailing the accent so you can concentrate on the character. We will work together to perfect any accent or voice work so you can feel at ease.
Working with Kids
Young actors are creative, fun, and smart! These young performers have natural talent but sometimes need help with voice and accents as they usually have not had a chance to train in acting yet. My voice and accent sessions for young performers make voice strengthening fun and accessible as shown by my work on Matilda the Musical and other children’s shows.
